"Hi, this is Dave from the Liberty store," responds
the mild mannered David upon every stock check to the Plymouth Store.
His work ethic and punctuality are the glue that hold the store
together. However, don't let his demeanor fool you. When circumstances
are dire he becomes "The Mole," the visually challenged vigilante with
superior close-quarter fighting ability (due to his inability to see
anything further away than his elbow) and bat-like sonar hearing. He
also plays one mean game of "Marco Polo." The Mole is the second
half of the "Helen Keller Duo." When his powers are combined with
Thunder they form a fully functional adult. Unfortunately if combined
improperly they form a word slurring, sign linguist with a heavily
restricted driver's license. Dave is also an avid traveler, telling the
staff great tales of his journeys to, among others, London, Bangkok,
Casablanca and Eternia. Confused by the last location the staff recently
found out that his little "visits" had merely been a ruse by Dave's wife
using a Viewfinder. He did, however, discover her little plot when the
slide stuck leaving him in an awkward situation between the Autobots and
Decepticons. With time now no longer a burden due to retirement from social
work, Diamond Dave stays active with a multitude of activities such as: running,
sailing, cycling and skiing.
